The net is not just for young

There are many people out there who either think computers and the internet are too complicated for them to use or simply can't see why they are of any interest.

That's why we are offering older people - "Silver Surfers" - a gentle introduction to using a computer and getting online in a supportive and friendly setting.

Showing people what's possible and explaining how they can use the network to do things they want to do anyway, like find the songs they remember or send old photos to family members, is a great way of bringing down the barriers.

If you want to find out what all the fuss is about, call in to one of our drop-in sessions for the over 50s:
  • Mondays between 10.00am and 12 midday
  • Wednesdays between 1.00pm and 3.00pm
There's no need to book and you'll be under no obligation. You never know, you just might enjoy it!
