Yesterday was the second of four workshops from our "Get yourself in a pickle" preserving course.
Everyone had been practising the recipe from last week and had brought in a chutney that they had made at home and we all enjoyed tasting testing each others chutneys.
Gill, our 'Get yourself in a pickle' tutor, brought along some examples of foods that she had picked from her garden and foraged locally.
This weeks workshop centred on understanding how to make a blackberry and apple jam, which Gill deftly demonstrated for us and everyone agreed that it tasted delicious!
