Garry David Denham

Garry David Denham is one of the local businesses that has benefited from business advice and support. Garry is currently undertaking some work for our L8 Living Sustainably project by engaging with local residents and demonstrating how they can use produce they have grown and turn it into a healthy satisfying meal on a budget.

This week saw Garry dishing up soup at the Liverpool City Council's annual Winter Survival event in St. George's Hall. Garry displayed his talents by producing a delicious but simple Leek and Potato soup, which was an instant hit with everyone that tried it!  You can get the recipe to try it at home by clicking here.

Garry said "I had an amazing opportunity to work for Liverpool City Council, who hired my services through their sponsors, British Gas. We gave away free bags of vegetables to members of the public, along with a recipe card and a free taster of the Leek and Potato soup. Thank you to GTDT and L8 Living Sustainably for your help and support. It's hard for new businesses to start up but with GTDT's help and advice, as well as L8 Living Sustainably, my business is beginning to thrive!"
