Know Your Numbers with the IT & Job Club

Following my training as Health Activator I asked the daily IT & Job Club users if they would like me to monitor their blood pressure.

In doing this some of our learners realised that their blood pressure was a little higher than average, but I signposted them to tips on how to lower it naturally which includes improving their lifestyle and I recommended that they visit their GP within 4 weeks to get more information.

After having my own blood pressure read I feel that I have been more aware of what I am eating, I have upped my exercise and just been aware of my health in general.
