For the Roma children they had an amazing evening where new "doors" were open for them. They see that they can also go to university or to have a good qualification from college, and it doesn't matter if you are Roma or not. This equality for the young people means a lot, because in that moment they see that they can be what they want and they need to manage their skills to be good professionals.
One of the outcomes from the visit was that the college contact the university to arrange for the Roma children to have a taster event for 4 hours of practical courses.
Dr. Patricia Harrison from Liverpool John Moores University said "It was an absolute pleasure to meet the young Roma - they are a credit to you all."
