Keeping Warm In Kensington

Held a getting ready for winter event at Kensington Community Learning Centre with our partners there and Health watch  (an organisation who wants to know communities views on making the NHS and social care better). We discussed and shared with each other ways of keeping warm this winter and how we can save money i.e. draft excluders against drafty doors and putting a blanket over us as we watch TV of an evening.

One of our aims is to get people to think about layering up on clothes during the winter and keeping active in the home.  For example: indoor temperatures between 9c - 12c (48F - 54F) - two hours or more core body temperatures drops and rise in blood pressure and viscosity.

We will be having regular events at Kensington Community Learning Centre over the winter with tips and ideas of keeping warm and saving money.
