"Well done to my fab colleagues at the Granby Toxteth Development Trust and many young Cullen Street residents for planting trees in the 'Seven Streets' garden yesterday. This garden should be a lovely resource for the local community in future #EveryTreeCounts"
- Cllr Laura Robertson-Collins, Cabinet Member for Environment and Sustainability
One of our messages at our winter events is layering up to keep warm. It's the main reason we have regular community clothes rail event in partnership with our energy partners at this timeof the year. We have an abundant supply of coats, jumpers hats and scarves and loads of tips of how to save money and keep warm.
Here are just a few tips which won't cost you an extra penny.
Draw the curtains at night to keep warm
Close internal doors to keep the heat in .
Put on an extra layer of clothing before turning up the heating.
