Since 2018 GTDT has been a signatory of the Charter for Employers Positive about Mental Health, demonstrating a commitment to the mental wellbeing of all of our staff and volunteers.
Beyond the public commitment to our team, being a Mindful Employer also gives us easy access to professional workplace mental health training, information and advice – giving us the tools we need so that we can support the mental wellbeing of all staff.
Our team is coping amazingly in the current emergency, with most of them seeing their jobs completely and rapidly transformed for the time being as we focus on urgent support for the most vulnerable people in our communities.
But this is stressful and often upsetting work. If a staff member needs some extra support during the lockdown, it is good to know that we have the backing and specialist resources of a major NHS Trust to call on.
