Celebration of Diversity - GRTHM

One of our community group that we work with from 2015 are Roma. We started our journey together to learn from each others about cultural diversity and how we can engage to be part of Liverpool.

June in UK is Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month.

Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month (GRTHM) was established in Britain in 2008 as a way of raising awareness of these communities and their contributions to society, and to offset negative stereotyping and prejudices. The aims of the GRTHM are to: Promote knowledge of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History, Cultural and Heritage.
All this month we will share weekly videos/photos about history and culture to be close with you online and to celebrate together.

This week I want to share a video about "7 Things You Should Know About Roma People". The video is create by European Roma Right Centre.

Enjoy!
