Inspire Health - Mental Health in Business

GTDT works in partnership with the Woman’s Organisation on the Enterprise Hub Project.

The Enterprise Hub is a programme of entrepreneurial training, learning and development for Liverpool City Region residents who are thinking about starting their own business, who are self-employed or are volunteering/working within or running a small business.

Darren Guy the lead business advisor for GTDT has had the honour of providing guidance to hundreds of business entrepreneurs that are tailored to each individual’s needs. A common issue among Darren’s clients is not having the confidence to commit to their dream business venture.

With this in mind, GTDT brought in the services of Lynn Coulsting.  Lynn is the founder of Inspire Health she is a therapist, with a wealth of experience within the health field. She developed Inspire Health as a therapy service designed for people who are sincere about making changes to themselves or their careers. Lynn currently helps the business clients at GTDT alter their mindset so they can fulfil their business potential. Lynn achieves this with 1-1 coaching, counselling & hypnotherapy.

This approach has been a success with GTDT’s business clients. Mel Sharpe signed onto the Enterprise Hub project, she owns ‘Refill’ a Liverpool based independent startup bringing package-free shopping service. Mel says:

‘My initial intro to Darren came via a loyal customer – suggesting he would be a good person to speak to. I would back that statement 100%, he has been invaluable support over the course of the pandemic. A good listener with the ability to calmly cut to the point of any given query, and he always comes back with a wealth of information, and helpful resources to help things move in the right direction.

Working with Lynn has been equally invaluable. Her wealth of holistic and academic training brings a fresh & welcoming approach to working through mindset blockages and working on organisational skills.

I want to thank GTDT for the opportunity of support from them both. It has provided a much-needed support network at a critical time for the business.’

It is great to hear that Mel has benefited from the support from Darren and Lynn. GTDT are proud to promote positive mental health across all their projects and for their staff and volunteers. This ensures people feel in control and are able to cope with life’s challenges and stresses – allowing everyone to maximise their potential and take a more active part in achieving their goals.
