'We took over the street with spoken word, performance, writing and games'

Last Saturday was busier than usual on Cullen Street because the 'Writing Bus Tour' pop up, was full of activities and facilitators ready to engage with the Roma children. A number of 82 children enjoyed the workshops and their creativity, imagination and energy made a positive experience for the organisers.

Writing on the Wall's John Maquire the Project Coordinator #LiverpoolWrites said 'A very vibrant day and I feel the activity and engagement was really important and worked'.

The children enjoyed the new activities in their area and this event give them the opportunity to think outside the box and engage to overcome the barriers using culture as a tool.
