GTDT, the Community Anchor Organisation for Toxteth, delivers a wide range of community-based development services in the L8 area and beyond. These include adult learning, business advice, environmental initiatives and youth work across a large part of the city.

Detached Youth Workers

£14.06 per hour, employed, evening work

We have immediate vacancies for street-based detached youth workers to work across the neighbourhood. If you are outgoing and friendly, and enjoy engaging with young people from all backgrounds, this could be the job for you.

You will typically work 3-hour shifts in the late afternoon or evening making this a perfect opportunity for fitting round work or other commitments. You will need to be flexible and fit with existing work patterns.

Working as part of a team you will build positive relationships with local young people while on the streets and help them towards their aspirations.
 
Employment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Certificate being obtained.
